A World Built by Its People
A world is only as valuable as the people who help build it.
5th Kingdom is a participatory digital world built on the Solana blockchain where players enter the Kingdom through unique NFT identities and collectively shape the evolution of an expanding ecosystem.
Every discovery, every structure, every new opportunity emerges through participant activity. Mines are uncovered through exploration. Trade networks are established through cooperation. Infrastructure evolves as the Kingdom grows.
Rather than focusing on speculative financial outcomes, 5th Kingdom is designed as a structured digital environment where identity, strategy, and participation determine how users experience an evolving world.
The Kingdom begins with a fixed population of 10,000 Lords (NFTs) at 250 USDT each. Those who enter early help shape everything that follows.
The Vision
Most digital worlds are built entirely by developers. 5th Kingdom is different.
The Kingdom is designed to evolve through the actions of its participants.
New mines emerge through collective exploration. Trade routes are established through coordinated effort. Infrastructure expands as players contribute materials, discover opportunities, and unlock new layers of interaction.
Players are not merely consuming content. They are helping create the world itself.
The long-term goal is a self-expanding ecosystem where participation continuously generates new opportunities for future participants.
Core Principles
Five convictions that govern how the Kingdom is designed, built, and experienced.
Identity Creates Access
Participation begins with identity. NFTs function as participation credentials that determine how users interact with Kingdom systems.
Participation Creates Opportunity
Progression is earned through engagement with structured gameplay systems.
Infrastructure Evolves Collectively
The Kingdom expands through coordinated player activity rather than developer-controlled distribution alone.
Systems Remain Transparent
Participation occurs within clearly defined rules, bounded progression systems, and observable on-chain mechanics.
Utility Drives Progression
Materials and resources exist to facilitate participation, unlock new experiences, and support ecosystem expansion.
Citizenship Layer
To support long-term ecosystem integrity and regulatory alignment, participation within core systems requires verification through the Citizenship Layer.
Citizenship establishes a verified participation framework that enables access to gameplay systems while helping maintain compliance standards throughout the ecosystem.
Citizenship is designed to ensure that participation rights remain connected to verified ecosystem access credentials.
NFT Identity System
Overall supply of NFTs are capped at 10,000 and priced at 250 USDT each. Every NFT contains a Primary trait (Discovery Rate), and one of two Secondary traits including Guild Favor (reduced claim fees between 1‑5%) or Elite Mining Expert (increased Discovery Rate of 0.1‑0.5%).
When an NFT is staked as a Lord, it activates the Primary. When an NFT is staked as a Companion, it activates the Secondary.
The primary participation identity of the Kingdom
Lords serve as the primary participation identities of the Kingdom. The benefits of Lords get activated when they are staked in the primary slot within your Household. Staked Lord NFTs may be unstaked at any time.
Each Lord
- Contains randomized attributes. RNG elements include a monthly discovery rate between 1‑5% and secondary traits such as increased monthly discovery rate and fee reduction for all Mine and ecosystem participation. All art work is custom made and randomized.
- NFT Rarity Odds. The odds of receiving any of the five different rarity types are documented below. All randomness can be verified, on-chain, via SwitchBoard VRF.
- Grants access to ecosystem. Staking Lord NFTs in the primary position within your Household enables participation and access to various resource generation systems (Mines, Trade Routes, etc) within 5th Kingdom. Staked Lords also unlock the ability to earn through strategic gameplay. Ecosystems are described in this Whitepaper in the section below, Core Gameplay & Ecosystem.
- Defines initial strategic strengths. Lords define the baseline of strategy for your Household by initializing discovery rates, Gameplay elements, and more.
- Establishes participation pathways. Lord NFTs unlock the ability to earn through gameplay and participate in Mines, Trade Routes, and more.
- Acts as the foundation for future progression. Future expansions, improvements, and systems within 5th Kingdom will build upon Lords and their attributes. Choose wisely.
| Rarity | Monthly Discovery Rate | Odds of Rolling |
|---|---|---|
| Common | 1% | 54% |
| Uncommon | 2% | 25% |
| Rare | 3% | 15% |
| Legendary | 4% | 5% |
| Mythic | 5% | 1% |
The supply of Lords (NFTs) is permanently capped at 10,000 — priced at 250 USDT each. No additional Lords will be created. Every participant enters the Kingdom through a Lord.
Enhance and refine a Lord's capabilities
Companions enhance and refine a Lord's capabilities. Companions are placed in the secondary positions within your Household. Staked NFTs in the secondary Household positions initializes their secondary traits and unlocks their abilities to further expand your discovery rates, reduce fees, enhance gameplay, etc. Staked Companion NFTs are locked in their Companion slots within your Household for 45 days before they can be unstaked to allow for an overall fair economy for everyone.
When paired with a Lord, Companions provide
Companions do not replace Lords. They expand the ways participants can enhance their engagement with the Kingdom.
All NFTs are either a Lord or a Companion based upon where they are staked within your Household.
Hire / Mint Walkthrough VideoAn in-depth tutorial on Lords, Companions, and the Mint process (called “Hire”).Households
All NFTs can be either Lords or Companions based on where they are staked in your Household. All NFTs have randomized primary and secondary traits.
Staking your NFT in the Lord position activates the primary traits as a Lord, while staking any NFT in the Companion position activates the secondary traits as a Companion.
Each Household can hold 1 Lord and up to 5 Companions at once.
Lords can be staked and unstaked at any time. Each Companion, once staked, can be unstaked after 45 days. This creates a fair system for every player.
Staking functions as participation activation within the ecosystem.
Activation enables
- Exploration participation within the ecosystem (Mines, Trade Routes, etc.)
- Access to progression systems
- Companion integration
- Infrastructure contribution
- Gameplay enhancement
- Participation in future ecosystem expansion
Certain systems may include structured commitment periods to maintain continuity and ecosystem stability.
Household Walkthrough VideoAn in-depth tutorial on how the Household works.Core Gameplay & Ecosystem
All participation in the ecosystem (Mines, Trade Routes, Expeditions, etc.) requires a Lord NFT within your Household. You must also pass Citizenship status (KYC/AML).
Participation in the gameplay, while free-to-play, earning capabilities are unlocked only if at least a Lord NFT is staked inside your Household.
As citizens contribute to the Kingdom through exploration, Guild leadership, infrastructure development, and community participation, they may become eligible for increasing civic responsibilities. Governance is designed as a natural extension of gameplay progression, reinforcing the platform's philosophy that leadership is earned through contribution rather than acquired through asset ownership alone.
Finite discovery zones, unlocked collectively
Mines are finite discovery zones that are unlocked once game players globally collect 10,000 EMBER.
Mines enable earning via two paths — players can participate in one path or both:
Players (Delvers)
Once 10,000 EMBER are globally claimed via gameplay, a Mine appears. Players (Delvers) can then claim ownership of the Mine through depositing EMBER Shard tokens that they earned via strategic gameplay. Claiming a Mine requires a Lord NFT.
10,000 EMBER is globally claimed by all players. A Gold Mine appears. Players must now deposit 10,000 EMBER Shards into that Mine to open it up for High Lords to deposit into. A player deposits 500 EMBER into that Mine. That player now owns 5% of that Mine and is entitled to 5% of all monthly fees paid by the High Lords as well as 5% of the final 50/50 USDT deposit once the Mine has completely been depleted.
Depositors (High Lords)
Once 10,000 EMBER has been placed into that Mine, any player holding a Lord NFT may deposit USDT into the Mine. Based on the strategy, attributes, and traits of their Household, depositors earn a monthly discovery rate of 1‑5% USDT equivalent of in-game resources (usable for crafting, progression, and trading on the marketplace).
A Gold Mine appeared. Players deposited 10,000 EMBER and opened the Mine. A High Lord, with a Household Discovery Rate of 5% decides to deposit 1,000 USDT into that Mine. That High Lord will receive 50 USDT equivalent of Gold resources for the game to be used in crafting, progression, or to be sold to other players or sold back to the company via our rolling buyback system.
Every month, when resources are claimed, a 15% fee is deducted from all monthly discoveries and distributed directly to the Players who own that Mine. High Lords may use those resources for in-game uses or can be sold on the Marketplace to other players or bought back from the 5th Kingdom's Sovereign rolling buybacks for USDT.
When a Mine is fully depleted, the entire original amount of deposited USDT is returned: 50% is distributed among the High Lords, and 50% is distributed to the Players who own the Mine.
Each Mine
- Has a limited lifecycle
- Contains finite resource capacity
- Eventually depletes
- Permanently exits active circulation
New Mines will be discovered as EMBERS are collected based on a global counter. Mine types, such as resources, depletion rates, etc. will be based on rarity and an RNG table.
This creates a constantly evolving exploration environment.
Time-based participation events
Expeditions are time-based participation events that form the foundation of Kingdom activity.
Each cycle includes
- Defined participation windows.
- The deposit amounts.
- Structured objectives.
- Timeframe and treasures received.
- Limited participation capacity.
- For unlocking and ownership and depositing.
- Observable completion outcomes.
- All parameters of an expedition are public before setting off.
Exploration drives discovery.
Discovery drives expansion.
Expansion creates new opportunities.
Long-duration strategic systems
Trade Routes are long-duration systems focused on strategic planning and sustained participation.
Participants contribute to expanding connectivity across the Kingdom through coordinated engagement and infrastructure development.
Trade Routes create new pathways for progression while supporting ecosystem growth.
Ember Shards
Earned through play, consumed through progress
EMBER Shards are earned through participation in 5th Kingdom's games.
They function as a progression material used to
- Unlock new gameplay opportunities
- Access newly discovered systems
- Activate infrastructure projects
- Support long-term ecosystem expansion
Ember Shards derive their utility from participation within the Kingdom and are designed to facilitate progression throughout the ecosystem. They are not tradeable as a liquidity pair on an exchange, but can be traded in-between wallets on-chain.
Functional, not speculative
To support transparency and decentralized interoperability, EMBER Shards are implemented as an SPL token on the Solana blockchain.
The token exists to facilitate gameplay operations, progression tracking, and ecosystem interactions.
Its purpose is functional rather than speculative.
Compliance enforced on-chain
EMBER Shards utilize Solana Token-2022 Extensions. An immutable Transfer Hook integrates directly with the Citizenship Layer.
This framework allows
- On-chain identity verification
- Automated access enforcement
- Programmatic participation controls
Transfers involving unverified participants automatically fail. This ensures ecosystem systems remain aligned with established participation requirements.
Governance
From a founder-led world to a progressively community-guided civilization — leadership earned through service.
The 5th Kingdom is designed to evolve from a founder-led digital world into a progressively community-guided digital civilization. As the ecosystem matures, participants may be provided opportunities to contribute to designated aspects of the Kingdom through structured governance procedures.
The purpose of governance is to encourage responsible stewardship, community collaboration, and long-term participation in the continued development of the 5th Kingdom as an interactive digital ecosystem. Governance is intended solely to support the evolution of the Kingdom and should not be interpreted as conferring ownership of, managerial authority over, or control of the development company or any affiliated entity.
Governance is introduced through a phased approach that reflects the continued growth and maturity of the ecosystem.
During the initial stages of development, the development team is responsible for the design, operation, maintenance, security, legal compliance, infrastructure, and continued development of the platform.
As gameplay systems mature, verified citizens may contribute feedback, submit proposals, and participate in community initiatives relating to gameplay, world-building, and the continued evolution of the Kingdom.
As additional gameplay systems become available, governance procedures may expand to include qualified participants serving within The Sovereign. Community participation will increase as the ecosystem demonstrates sufficient maturity, operational stability, and technical readiness.
The timing, scope, and implementation of governance remain subject to operational requirements, legal considerations, platform security, and the long-term sustainability of the ecosystem.
The highest governing institution of the Kingdom
The Sovereign is the highest governing institution within the world of the 5th Kingdom.
It is composed of Archons—distinguished citizens who have demonstrated sustained leadership, Guild development, infrastructure stewardship, constructive community participation, and meaningful contributions to the continued growth of the Kingdom.
Membership within The Sovereign is earned through demonstrated stewardship rather than purchased or automatically granted through ownership of NFTs or any other digital asset. Eligibility may consider objective factors established by the platform, including Guild leadership, infrastructure development, community service, ecosystem participation, and other measurable contributions that support the long-term health of the Kingdom.
The Sovereign represents the highest level of civic achievement within the 5th Kingdom. While every citizen contributes to the growth of the world, only a limited number of individuals will ultimately earn the privilege of serving as Archons. This structure reflects the Kingdom's philosophy that leadership is earned through service, responsibility, and sustained contribution.
Where implemented, members of The Sovereign may participate in governance procedures relating to designated aspects of the Kingdom, including:
- Gameplay systems and balancing.
- Feature prioritization.
- Seasonal events and community initiatives.
- World expansion and exploration priorities.
- Guild systems and community features.
- User-generated infrastructure.
- Lore and world-building.
- Other ecosystem matters designated by the platform for community participation.
Community participation is intended to assist in guiding the continued evolution of the Kingdom. The development team retains responsibility for evaluating proposals based upon technical feasibility, platform security, operational requirements, legal obligations, and the long-term sustainability of the ecosystem.
Governance procedures may evolve as the platform matures. The platform may establish reasonable eligibility requirements, proposal standards, participation thresholds, deliberation procedures, voting mechanisms, implementation processes, and other administrative rules necessary to support effective governance.
Additional governance documentation may be published from time to time describing these procedures in greater detail.
The Sovereign governs designated aspects of the digital Kingdom only.
Participation in governance does not constitute equity ownership, shareholder rights, partnership interests, fiduciary responsibilities, employment, agency, or any ownership interest in the development company or its affiliates.
Participation in governance does not create any entitlement to profits, revenues, dividends, distributions, financial returns, appreciation in value, or ownership of any intellectual property, assets, treasury funds, or business operations associated with the platform.
Legal, regulatory, compliance, security, financial, operational, intellectual property, and corporate matters remain the responsibility of the development team and its affiliated entities.
To protect the integrity, security, and continued operation of the platform, the development team reserves the ability to implement reasonable actions necessary to address security incidents, software vulnerabilities, fraud prevention, technical failures, legal obligations, or other circumstances that could materially affect the operation of the ecosystem.
Where practical, significant governance-related decisions affecting the community may be communicated through official platform channels.
The governance framework is intended to evolve alongside the continued development of the 5th Kingdom. Governance procedures, eligibility criteria, and the scope of community participation may be refined, expanded, suspended, or modified as necessary to improve the long-term sustainability, security, and operation of the platform.
This Governance section describes intended gameplay and ecosystem governance concepts for the 5th Kingdom. It does not constitute a contract, investment agreement, partnership agreement, or guarantee of future governance rights or implementation. Governance features remain subject to ongoing development, technical feasibility, legal review, regulatory requirements, and operational considerations, and may be modified or discontinued where necessary to ensure the continued operation, security, and compliance of the platform.

The Kingdom begins with a permanently fixed population of 10,000 Founding Citizens. This finite supply establishes scarcity while preserving the significance of early participation.
QDoes my progress follow my Lord NFT?
Yes! If you deposit into Mines, that progress is attached to your Lord NFT. If you own a Mine through gameplay and are earning fees, that is attached to your Lord NFT.
If your Lord NFT ever changes hands, so does the progress it holds.
QHow do I get started?
Getting started takes just a few steps:
- Connect a supported wallet.
- Acquire a Lord NFT.
- Enter the Kingdom and begin your adventure via gameplay as a Delver or by depositing into Mines as a High Lord.
